For decades, the name KYDEX has been synonymous with the thermoplastic sheet the company manufactures. KYDEX wanted to go beyond being known as just a product supplier, and position itself as a partner to designers from inspiration to implementation, providing customizable solutions. KYDEX enlisted JPL, its agency of record, to reach designers in the varied industries KYDEX serves. The messaging goal: conveying that KYDEX understands their world, and convincing designers to demand KYDEX® sheet for their projects, from chic airline interiors to sturdy industrial housings.
Solution
JPL’s integrated solution did just that. A campaign featuring print ads and online banners speaks the language of design, and a new website targets designers by industry. The effort reinvented the brand, reinforced its established dedication to service, and changed perceptions in the design industry. KYDEX immediately received inquiries and invitations to connect from previously unreachable upper-echelon designers. KYDEX is now recognized as a design-forward firm and unique industry heavyweight.
